Hello Kitty and friends have taken over VivoCity's Sky Park until 27 September 2026. The mall's Mid-Autumn campaign, Sanrio characters Moonlit Garden, is the HarbourFront stop for lantern photos, carnival games, and a TANGS mooncake fair on Level 1. If you only have one weekend left, this is the one to use.
Six worlds on the Sky Park, then a sticker if you solve the riddles
The official VivoCity page puts the main display on Sky Park, Level 3, from 25 August to 27 September. There are six themed worlds with oversized character installations. You walk through, take the photos, then work the lantern riddles. Solve them and you can redeem an exclusive Sanrio sticker set. Gifts run hourly from 5pm to 9pm daily, limited stock, so turning up at 3pm and hoping for a set is a waste of a trip.
The carnival sits on the same roof deck, 5pm to 10pm daily. Sanrio-themed games pay out small prizes. A Mini Express Train loops the deck. Both are weather-dependent. If a late-afternoon storm rolls in off the Strait, check the signs on site rather than trusting a morning Instagram story.
Spend thresholds that actually change what you walk out with
VivoRewards members get the heavier gifts. Spend $250 across a maximum of two same-day receipts and you can redeem a toiletries pouch. Hit $400 and a foldable umbrella joins it. Qualified members get an in-app notification. Gifts run while stocks last. The mall's terms PDF is worth a skim before you queue, because the receipt rules are fussy.
Meet-and-greet sessions are tighter. Dates left after the August opening weekend are 5 and 6 September, then 19 September. Sessions sit at North-West Boulevard, Level 1, near CHANEL, at 3pm, 5pm, and 7pm. One same-day receipt of $80 unlocks a pass. Only 30 qualifying redemptions per session, one per member per day. You redeem in person at least 30 minutes before the slot. The character on duty can change. If you promised a specific mascot to a six-year-old, have a backup plan.
Kids Club members can redeem a Sanrio lantern with $120 at participating Kids Club stores, capped at one same-day receipt and the first 500 redemptions. The first 500 new Kids Club members also get a DIY bag tag while stocks last. New VivoRewards members who spend $150 in a single receipt can pick up a $5 eVoucher, limited to the first 1,000.
Mooncakes downstairs, Ding Ding candy upstairs
TANGS Mid-Autumn Fair runs 25 August to 25 September at Central Court, Level 1. It is the annual mooncake stall cluster, not a Sanrio set. Use it if you still need festive boxes and want the mall trip to do two jobs. A Sanrio retail pop-up sits at East Court, Level 1, near CHAGEE, through 27 September, selling collectibles and small accessories.
Complimentary Ding Ding candy is the old-school treat. Sessions left are 5 to 6 September and 12 to 13 September, Lobby L, Level 3, near Food Republic, 7pm to 9pm. First 300 redemptions each day. The mooncake-plush packing game is 12 to 13 September and 26 to 27 September, 4pm to 8pm, North-West Boulevard near Waa Cow. Spend $50 for a timed packing challenge. First 250 members daily.
HarbourFront MRT is the obvious arrival. The Sky Park is a long walk from the Circle Line gates, so budget extra time if you are chasing a 3pm meet-and-greet. Mall hours are 10am to 10pm. The carnival starts at 5pm, so a late lunch at the food court, then up to the roof, is the least frantic sequence.
