XIA Kim Junsu Returns to Singapore With GRAVITY Asia Tour on 19 July
XIA, better known to long-time K-pop fans as Kim Junsu, returns to Singapore on Sunday 19 July 2026 with the 2026 XIA 6TH ASIA TOUR CONCERT GRAVITY IN SINGAPORE. The show starts at 5pm at the Resorts World Convention Centre and is his long-awaited comeback to the city after years away. Tickets are available via MAISEAT and Trip.com.
The Singapore stop is part of his sixth Asia tour and coincides with the release of his fifth full-length album, GRAVITY, which marks his first studio album in a decade following Xignature in 2016. The tour name draws from the invisible force that pulls people together, and the setlist explores the connection between artist and audience. Fans can expect brand-new material from the album alongside fan-favourite tracks from across his solo career.
Why Junsu's Solo Comeback Matters
Kim Junsu is one of the most respected vocalists in Korean music. His distinctive tone and commanding stage presence have kept him relevant even through long gaps between releases. Beyond his solo pop career, he has built an acclaimed musical theatre resume with leading roles in Mozart!, Elisabeth and Dracula, which adds a theatrical dimension to his live shows that most K-pop soloists cannot match.
GRAVITY as an album is significant because a 10-year gap in studio output is unusual in K-pop, where most acts release annually. The fact that he is touring it across Asia, and that Singapore is on the route, signals where his international fanbase still concentrates. The Resorts World Convention Centre setting is deliberately intimate compared with a stadium, which suits a vocalist whose show is built on vocal performance and theatrical staging rather than pyrotechnics.
What to Expect From the Setlist
The tour is structured around the new GRAVITY material, but Junsu's solo catalogue runs deep. Earlier solo work like Tarantallegra, Incredible and the musical-theatre-influenced ballads are likely to sit alongside the new tracks. Because this is his sixth Asia tour, the production is designed as a full concert experience rather than a promotional showcase. The concert is open to attendees aged six and above, and children aged 12 and below must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
For fans who last saw him live a decade ago, the show is a chance to hear how his voice has evolved. For newer fans who came to him through K-pop's second wave, this is the first opportunity to see him headline in Singapore.
The RWS Back-to-Back Weekend
XIA's Sunday show is the second half of a back-to-back concert weekend at Resorts World Sentosa. The night before, Saturday 18 July, Alex To plays the Resorts World Ballroom for a Mandopop nostalgia night. The two shows sit in the same venue complex but draw different crowds, and the pairing makes the weekend one of the stronger RWS entertainment blocks of the year. If you are planning to attend both, staying on Sentosa avoids two separate harbour crossings.
Getting There and Booking
Take the North-East Line or Circle Line to HarbourFront MRT (NE1/CC29), walk through VivoCity, and board the Sentosa Express to Waterfront Station. The Resorts World Convention Centre is a short walk from the station through the resort complex. The 5pm start time means you can reasonably plan an early dinner at one of the RWS restaurants before doors, and the Sunday evening show lets you head back to the mainland without the late-night crush of a Friday or Saturday concert.
Tickets went on sale on 16 June 2026 at 12:00pm SGT via MAISEAT and Trip.com. Check both platforms for remaining categories, as the intimate venue means the best seats sell through quickly.
