Located at a corner of the hawker centre, the friendly uncle may come over to take your order and bring the order to your table. Lots of regular customers, mostly elderlies, hang out here. Teh siu dai was too milky for my liking. Cash only.

The tehsi-siudai ($1.3 for dine-in) is IMHO the best at the Bukit Merah View hawker centre. Friendly uncle and his colleague will ask you to sit and bring the drinks to you if you’re sitting near the stall. No paynow/paylah though - cash only. Edit on 1 Sep 2023: checked and was told by Uncle that customers can use the QR code at the neighboring stall, Hua Ji Bao Dang to make payments for purchases at 17@Cafe!
