There's no other way to put it, but the Bak Kut Teh was awful. The only acceptable bit of the dish was just the look /image of it. The soup was just basically just hot water with a whole tonne of pepper dumped into it. If you need a BKT fix, look elsewhere.

The worse white pepper soup I ever had. The chicken is not tender, the fish maw is not tender. The soup is just pepper and no other taste. The white pepper taste is way too strong and u taste nothing else. I will never try this again for sure
