Love this classic bowl of wanton mee from Tiong Bahru Market. The noodles are springy and smooth, with just the right texture. The boiled wantons are filled with well-seasoned meat and the skin isn’t too thick—just perfect. The charsiew? …

A true hidden gem in Tiong Bahru! 陈明记 Wanton Noodles nails it with QQ noodles, tender sweet roasted meat, and plump, flavorful dumplings. Authentic Malaysian-style 古早味 you can’t miss. Worth the queue!

Chanced upon this wanton mee stall at Tiong Bahru market. Their wanton were plump and juicy, we also like the texture of the noodles. For dried version, if you want spicy, the owner will make it white sauce with pork lard. If non spicy, the owner will make with black sauce like Malaysian style. Oh course, you also can request doing it either black or white sauce. Go have a try.

This stall serves traditional, old-school Malaysian-style wanton mee. The char siew is lean, but we all agreed it was tasty. The wanton filling is generous, with a thin and delicate skin. …

Omg, I don’t even know where to start.. this was such an enjoyable and delightful meal! The noodles were perfectly springy with that QQ bite, and honestly… one bowl just isn’t enough, even for my small appetite. That’s how good it is. The flavors are rich yet comforting!! It’s the kind of food you crave on a rainy day, on a busy day, or really any day. I found myself slurping it down way too quickly because it was just that addictive. The portion might look simple at first, but once you taste it, you’ll understand why people keep coming back. It’s not just food.. it’s comfort in a bowl, the kind of dish that lingers in your mind long after the last bite. If you all havent tried this yet, you are just seriously missing it out!!
