Yong tau foo and chee cheong fun at Bukit Merah Lane — two heritage favourites served fresh from one stall.
Cheng Ji Yong Tau Hu Chee Cheong Fun at Bukit Merah Lane 1 is a stall that serves two beloved Chinese hawker classics — yong tau foo and chee cheong fun — from a single location. The yong tau foo features a variety of tofu, bittergourd, eggplant, and other vegetables stuffed with seasoned minced meat, served either in a clear broth or dry with sauce. The chee cheong fun complements the offering with silky steamed rice noodle rolls drizzled with sweet soy.The 4.0 rating reflects the consistent quality of both preparations. The yong tau foo pieces are filled to order and cooked fresh, ensuring the fillings remain juicy while the vegetables retain their texture. The chee cheong fun is steamed in batches, arriving soft and silky with the classic sesame and soy dressing. The Bukit Merah Lane 1 food centre provides covered communal seating and a lively neighbourhood atmosphere.
The stall operates during standard hawker hours, and both dishes are available at very affordable hawker prices. For two heritage hawker classics done right at Bukit Merah Lane, Cheng Ji Yong Tau Hu Chee Cheong Fun delivers quality and tradition in equal measure. Pick one or try both — either way, you are eating well.

One of my favourite YTF stalls if not the best. Reasonable prices, great selection, freshness assured. Lady boss hand makes most of the stuff. She re-heats everything before serving you. Highly highly recommended
