Old-school braised noodle stall at Telok Blangah Crescent — dark, savoury lor sauce over springy noodles.
Chin Hung Braised Noodle at Telok Blangah Crescent Market and Food Centre is a hawker stall that specialises in lor mee — the Hokkien braised noodle dish featuring thick, starchy gravy ladled over noodles and topped with ingredients like ngoh hiang, fish cake, braised egg, and pork. The braised sauce is the heart of the dish, dark, savoury, and slightly thickened with starch to cling to every strand. It is an old-school preparation that rewards those who appreciate the deep, slow-cooked flavours of traditional hawker cooking. The Telok Blangah Crescent Food Centre setting provides a classic hawker atmosphere with communal seating and a steady stream of regulars from the surrounding HDB estate. The stall keeps its menu focused, doing lor mee and related braised dishes rather than trying to cover too much ground.
Prices are firmly in the hawker bracket, and the portions are satisfying for a single meal. The stall opens early, catering to the breakfast and lunch crowd. For a bowl of comforting, gravy-soaked noodles that feels like a warm hug, Chin Hung Braised Noodle at Telok Blangah delivers. It is hawker tradition, one ladle of lor sauce at a time.

The egg is braised to the fullness. 🤣🤣 like Taiwan style. Abit hard but full of favor. 1 pcs batter fry fillet , ngoh hiang & pork belly.. But to me, the Gravy is thick but not flavorful. feel Avg for it.. 😗😗 I guess won’t be back for it again. …

I ordered their $3.50 lor mee which I thought was value for money if one is not fussy about the mediocre gravy because we can self-service the condiments. Other ingredients included braised pork, chicken cutlet and fried fish.

Good enough noodle. Ingredients is ok for the price. Condiments can self add, so it still generous
