Made-to-order Hong Kong-style chee cheong fun and comforting congee at Redhill — two Cantonese classics in one stall.
HK Style Chee Cheong Fun and Porridge at Redhill Food Centre combines two Cantonese comfort staples under one roof — made-to-order Hong Kong-style rice noodle rolls and smooth, comforting congee. The chee cheong fun is the highlight, prepared fresh with the Hong Kong method that yields exceptionally thin, silky sheets rolled around fillings of shrimp, char siew, or chicken, then drizzled with soy sauce and sesame oil.The 4.1 rating reflects solid quality that keeps Redhill regulars coming back. The congee menu covers classic varieties — from plain century egg and pork to sliced fish and chicken — each simmered until the rice grains break down into a smooth, velvety consistency. The stall at Redhill Food Centre provides the classic hawker setting with covered communal seating, and both the chee cheong fun and porridge are available throughout operating hours.
Prices are affordable, and the made-to-order preparation means each plate arrives fresh and hot. For Cantonese comfort food done right at Redhill, this stall delivers silky chee cheong fun and warming congee in equal measure. Two classics, one stall, countless satisfying meals.

Don't know what the fuss about thick chee cheong fun. This is done very well. Thin and portion is huge. Better than some restaurant.

Amazing Chee Cheong Fun. It’s silky and thin accompanied by a nicely balanced sauce that is sweet and savoury. The congee is also great - has a great smooth texture. The serving is massive as well. The couple running the store are really friendly - I’d definitely recommend coming down to try it!
