A Telok Blangah institution for over 40 years — S$0.60 kopi brewed by Mr Chen with old-school dedication.
Hock Guan Drink Stall at Telok Blangah Crescent Market and Food Centre is a true hawker institution, run by Mr Chen for over 40 years and still serving kopi at the remarkable price of S$0.60 a cup. That price alone would be enough to earn fame, but it is the consistent quality and the dedication of the veteran stallholder that have made Hock Guan a beloved fixture in the Telok Blangah community. The 4.5 rating reflects deep appreciation from regulars who have been coming here for decades. The menu is straightforward — kopi, teh, and the usual variations prepared the traditional way using sock filters and condensed milk, just as it has been done for generations. Mr Chen continues to brew each cup with the same care and skill that has defined the stall since the early days. The Telok Blangah Crescent Market setting provides a classic hawker atmosphere, and the stall draws regulars from the surrounding estate who would not dream of getting their kopi anywhere else.
For a taste of old-school Singapore at a price that belongs to another era, Hock Guan Drink Stall is an essential visit. Sixty cents never tasted so good — and neither did forty years of dedication.

Coffee and teh were very cheap, at only $0.80 for each cup. Coffee was not bad but teh was quite tasteless. Uncle accepts cash only.
Positive Reviews
Joseph
Coffee for 80 cents. May be one of the cheapest around.

Their yuan yang is smooth, medium thickness and not so sweet. Price affordable at $1. When passing by this stall, even wearing mask, I can smell nice roasted coffee, so decided to test it out. Overall nice and affordable, 8.5/10.
