Hundred Grains 百米香 bills itself as Singapore's first Chinese fast food restaurant, and its concept is as bold as it sounds: grab a partitioned plate, pick from up to 60 dishes spread along a heated steamer line, and pay $3.98 per 100g. The buffet-style spread is helmed by two chefs with a decade of experience, turning out Hunan, Sichuan and Cantonese signatures cooked fresh in small wok batches.

Hunan standouts include braised pork and pearl meatballs; Sichuan fans will find Chongqing spicy chicken, mapo tofu and mala crispy pork intestines; Cantonese offerings shine with nourishing lotus root pork rib soup and steamed dishes. Free-flow white rice, brown rice, congee and dispenser drinks are included—dinner adds fruits and desserts like green bean soup. The eatery at ARC opens Monday to Saturday, 11am to 3pm and 5pm to 9pm, and takeaway enjoys a 20% discount.
