The stall offers springy egg noodles tossed in a savoury sauce, topped with slices of char siew and accompanied by plump wanton dumplings filled with minced pork and shrimp. The wanton soup on the side is clear and comforting, with a light, flavourful broth that complements the dry noodles. It is a dish that exemplifies the appeal of wanton mee, simple ingredients brought together with care and consistency. The stall also serves other noodle variations and sides, but the classic dry wanton mee remains the most popular order.
