Hokkien mee and carrot cake at ABC Brickworks, two hawker classics under one stall.
Kim Hue Hokkien Mee Carrot Cake at ABC Brickworks Market and Food Centre serves two of Singapore's most beloved hawker dishes from a single stall, letting diners enjoy Hokkien-style fried noodles and fried carrot cake without choosing between stalls. The dual offering makes it a popular stop for those who want variety on a single plate. The Hokkien mee features thick yellow and white noodles wok-fried in a rich prawn and pork broth, yielding that signature moist, savoury plate with a hint of wok hei. The carrot cake, available in white and black versions, uses soft steamed radish cake cubes stir-fried with egg, preserved radish and chilli for the dark rendition.
Both dishes are well-executed, and ordering a combination plate is common. If you cannot decide between Hokkien mee and carrot cake, Kim Hue lets you have both. It is ABC Brickworks comfort food at its most convenient.

Felt there wasn't much wok hei which honestly made the taste a little one dimensional, aunty looked a bit jaded

Oily, but taste ok. Slow cooking service

The white carrot cake has a slightly moist texture. While it may not be the finest, it is adequate to meet any craving for carrot cake.
Positive Reviews

The fried hokkien mee is quite good.

White carrot cake was quite generous in portion at $3.50. The overall taste was OK. However, the carrot cake could undergo more frying. The order took unexpectedly long to be prepared despite the absence of a queue.
