Muslim Food Stall at Bukit Merah View Market and Food Centre is a longstanding hawker stall that has earned a devoted following for its lontong, a traditional Malay dish of rice cakes in coconut gravy. The lontong here is described as lemak, sweet, and savoury — a deeply comforting bowl served with begedil (potato cutlets) and serunding (spiced coconut floss) that elevates it beyond the ordinary. The 4.4 rating reflects the consistent quality that keeps regulars coming back. Beyond lontong, the stall also serves other Malay-Muslim staples such as nasi lemak, mee siam, and side dishes that rotate daily. The Bukit Merah View Market setting provides a classic hawker experience with covered communal seating and a lively neighbourhood atmosphere. The stall operates during standard hawker hours, and early arrival is recommended as popular items sell out by mid-afternoon.
Prices are very affordable, keeping it accessible for daily visits. For authentic, homestyle Malay lontong in the Bukit Merah area, Muslim Food Stall is the real deal. It is the kind of stall that reminds you why hawker food is at the heart of Singapore food culture.

It is a nameless Muslim food stall with a decent queue, ranging from 1 to 8 people at 7:30 am on a Wednesday morning. I ordered the less popular Mee Siam, which had a typical Malay Mee Siam taste and a generous portion of Bee Hoon. The taste was about 3.5 stars. Note to self: try their other more popular dishes next time.
