We were drawn to Nanyang Dao by the friendly and welcoming servers, which created a great first impression. We ordered Stir-Fried Malay Noodles with Tiger Prawn, Penang Fried Kway Teow, Malaysia Rojak, and Teh-C. …

Only Rojak is nice, prawn noodle prawn not fresh, not worth the price. Fried rice salted egg chicken is cold, chicken tasted like refried and hard, definitely not freshyly fried, (you can see from the picture.) no salted egg taste.

Finally tried their food, Nasir Lemak rice flavourful, sambal Kang kong not bad as well. Salted egg chicken chop not as good. Overall good dining experience.

Long waiting time for Penang fried kway teow. No crowd at 3pm but took 20 minutes to serve the food after asking the staff twice. Taste was ok and Prawns were not fresh, the head already black and told the staff then just said oh? They …

I ordered a Nasi lemak with no chilli but the sambal chilli came with the food. When I feedback to the staff & request for a change, the chilli was removed and that patch covered up by the fried chicken. However my rice and ikan bilis was stained with chili. It was only when the manager went into the kitchen to get my order rectified that a new plate came. However, after the food was served, I get a very unfriendly stare from the kitchen window at me! Such threatening dining experience! ! ! I also ordered Rojak and it's extremely salty!

Always a dinner time queue since its recent opening I guess because prices are reasonable and portions above average. As you can see from the clam dish photo it came like this with almost all the top shells empty so much so one of the servers came by a minute after the dish arrived asking if he could clear the dish LoL. Perhaps the clams weee not super fresh that the meat came off but there weren’t many at the bottom. Sauce was more curry tasting and you can see clumps of starchy sauce indicating it was not cooked out well. Penang char kway teow was good BUT the plate it came on was too small and the bottom too small in diameter and too tall such that it kept tipping to the sides as I tried to de-shell the prawns. See photo of under-side of plate. Mee siam noodle was served cold. Chicken was good but we expected a whole hard-boiled egg, not a half. We were seated near the concourse edge and our 2-seater table separated from the adjacent 2-seater table such that the aisle became too narrow and we kept being brushed by the servers. I would come back for the Penang char kway teow but not the cold mee siam or clam dish. Overall I would give it a 3.5 stars if I could.

Not bad, affordable, long q always. The penang kway teow tiger prawns were hard, should have just ordered the $7.5 instead the $9 one. Hokkien mee n kway teow as usual quite oily.

Ordered their penang fried kuay teow was terribly salty! I regretted not asking them to change a new serving as their orders are pretty slow. Nevertheless the penang prawn mee soup was tasty. The down side was soup wasn't piping hot enough. The fried bean curd & fried chicken wings also at salty sides. Isit their menu was generally salty?? I think they need to samples their food before serving.
