Traditional Taiwanese-style shaved ice stall piling fresh toppings and syrups over finely shaved ice for a refreshing dessert.
This hawker stall specialises in gu zao cuo bing, the traditional Taiwanese-style shaved ice dessert that piles finely shaved ice with a medley of sweet toppings and flavoured syrups. The ice is shaved fine enough to have a snow-like texture that absorbs the syrups rather than letting them pool at the bottom, creating a dessert that is as refreshing as it is visually appealing.Classic toppings include red bean, grass jelly, sweet potato, and peanuts, with syrups ranging from brown sugar to fruit-based options. The stall keeps the focus on the traditional preparation, with each bowl assembled to order so the ice stays perfectly fluffy when it reaches the customer. The portion sizes are generous, easily shareable, and the price stays firmly in hawker dessert territory.
On a hot Singapore afternoon, a bowl of shaved ice from this stall is one of the most effective cool-downs available. Beat the tropical heat with a bowl of traditional shaved ice that is simple, sweet, and thoroughly refreshing. It is summer on a plate, available year-round.

Hands down one of my favourite dessert stalls in the neighbourhood. Great variety to select from & I especially love the red bean soup and Gingko barley items! $1.5 each and is not sweet! Refreshing and delicious! My parents also love the dessert and not sweet Did you know, you can actually order their desserts on WhyQ?

31 Dec 2024 1915H - Iced Chng Tng is not bad. It cost $1.50, but don't really expect the big logans and very big portion of nuts and white fungus within. Overall the price is reasonable.
