Authentic Korean sundubu-jjigae specialist at ARC serving bubbling tofu stew with banchan and raw egg in stone bowls.
SBCD Korean Tofu House is a Singapore chain that specialises in sundubu-jjigae, the Korean soft tofu stew served bubbling hot in a stone bowl. The Alexandra Retail Centre outlet delivers the full SBCD experience: choose your broth spiciness from mild to extreme, pick your protein (seafood, beef, pork, mushroom, or mixed), and crack a raw egg into the stew the moment it arrives at the table. The result is a rich, velvety pot of comfort that is simultaneously warming and satisfying. Each order comes with a spread of banchan including kimchi, seasoned spinach, and pickled radish, plus a bowl of purple rice. The menu also offers Korean fried chicken, bulgogi, and seafood pancakes for those who want more than stew, but the tofu soup remains the undisputed star.
The setting is casual and family-friendly, with prompt service that keeps the lunch crowd moving. When only a bubbling, egg-swirled bowl of Korean tofu stew will hit the spot, SBCD at ARC is the answer. It is Korean comfort food at its most soulful.

Food is very expensive. Limited bachan. Service is mediocre. Ordered the seafood sondufu. The crab and prawn is not fresh. Had stomach upset afterwards

For the food, it's good for Tofu lovers. They provide a complement fish. The rice was served in a hotpot and my wife loved it. It was slightly salty for me. Overall I still consider it nice. The place was crowded and noisy, preferring the small compartment than seating in the hall. The service was average.
