Fresh-pressed sugarcane juice at Tiong Bahru Market — sweet, cooling, and just S$1.80 a cup.
Wang Wang Sugar Cane at Tiong Bahru Market is a drinks stall that specialises in freshly pressed sugarcane juice, one of Singapore most refreshing hawker beverages. A cup of cold sugarcane here costs just S$1.80 — a price that feels almost too good to be true in today Singapore, and one that has earned the stall a loyal following among Tiong Bahru regulars. The stall operates from 7:30am to 8:00pm daily, making it available for the early breakfast crowd right through to the dinner rush.
The sugarcane is pressed fresh to order, yielding a naturally sweet, slightly grassy juice that is incredibly cooling on a hot day. The menu may also include other fresh juice options and blended drinks to complement the sugarcane. The Tiong Bahru Market location on the second floor provides a lively hawker atmosphere with ample communal seating.
The stall is a fixture of the market, with the familiar hum of the sugarcane press signalling refreshment nearby. For the best-value sugarcane juice in Tiong Bahru, Wang Wang Sugar Cane delivers pure, cold refreshment at a price that brings a smile. It is the simple pleasures that matter most — and this is one of them.

The staff noticed me studying the menu and proactively served me. I ordered a sugarcane lemon drink, which was delicious. It's one of my top three favorite drinks in Singapore, besides Song Fat. Any drink I try at a roadside restaurant in Singapore is pretty good.

Sugarcane juice is a specialty, and ginger tea is also good.

Loved visiting Wang Wang for sugarcane juice while on holiday. It was so good we went 4 times. The owners were very kind and remembered us. We will be back next time we go to Singapore.

They juice the sugar cane in front of you. The sugar cane juice is naturally super sweet. I didn't like the version with the calamansi in it (it says lemon on the menu). It is more expensive without ice because they give you more juice.
