Popular Chinese mala tang chain at HarbourFront Centre letting diners pick ingredients for a customisable, numbingly spicy broth.
Yang Guo Fu Mala Tang at HarbourFront Centre brings the wildly popular Chinese mala tang concept to the HarbourFront area, where diners select their own ingredients from a well-stocked display and have them cooked in a rich, aromatic mala broth. Originating from China, the Yang Guo Fu chain has rapidly expanded across Singapore, and its appeal lies in the interactive pick-and-cook format combined with the deeply flavoured, numbingly spicy Sichuan-style soup base.
The broth is simmered with dozens of herbs and spices, delivering the signature mala sensation of numbing heat that mala lovers crave. The ingredient selection ranges from fresh vegetables and mushrooms to various meats, seafood, tofu, and noodles, allowing for endless customisation. Those who prefer less heat can opt for a milder broth or the tomato-based alternative.
The HarbourFront Centre outlet provides a clean, casual dining space that suits both solo diners and groups seeking a warming, interactive meal. The per-gram pricing means you control the cost by choosing how much to load into your bowl. Build your bowl at Yang Guo Fu Mala Tang at HarbourFront Centre for a mala tang experience that is as spicy or as gentle as you want it. Pick, cook, slurp, repeat.

Recommended by a friend, and I wholeheartedly agree with her assessment. The food is absolutely delicious, and I'll definitely be coming back for more! Just a heads up, it gets pretty crowded during lunchtime, so try to avoid those hours if you can, unless you don't mind waiting.

Love the beef broth, service is okay. But the space to dine is really small. So consider to remove a few table and chairs for better dining experience.

This restaurant offers only three types of flavors: Tomato Soup, Beef Stock Mala Soup, and Dry Mala. …

Looveeed it!!!!! We do not have such food in
Poland so I did not know what to do and what to choose but the staff today have been so helpful and they explained everything. One of the best meals I had in Singapore.

This was my first time eating YGF. Had Collagen Chicken Malatang, which I thought was quite delicious. Their ingredient selection was not bad, no Shimeji sadly, but loved the range of tofu products. Also surprised they served no rice. Price wise, I thought it was a bit high, but the meal was pretty good and they had a condiment bar.
