Busy on a Thur lunch. You can reserve a table or come after 1.30pm. The chirashi don looked good and tasted good. There are quite a few variation to suit different preference. Its in a open area of ARC. So its a bit noisy.

Seems only 1 staff for the whole shop when we dine there on Sunday dinner. Kaisen don is value for money. Sashimi is also not bad thick-cut 3 pcs for 5.80. Overall not bad for this price. Staff can be friendlier, but understandable for whole shop running by 1 person.

Tried a unagi don and a oyakadon. Both bowls made on the spot with oyakadon served piping hot and also came with bowls of miso soup. Delicious and comforting bowls of rice with miso soup not overly salty. Not much crowd past 7pm.

Visited on a weekday for lunch. Took a bit of time to find the place because the unit is actually not a shop but rather an open area. Saw the previous unit number and the one next to it was 01 and I went a few rounds to find it. I was in a rush for time, I saw that most of the customers were already done with their food and so I thought it might be fast for me. Scanned through the menu and quickly ordered a few items. Was doing my work on laptop while waiting, didn't know 20 minutes passed and food wasn't here. I told the staff am running late and he told me very fast it's ready. Then 2 other customers walked in and sat beside me next to the counter. It actually took another 10 minutes for the food to be served, and the 2 guys next to me actually got the food at the same time. I had to quickly finish my food as I had to head back for a meeting. Service was awfully slow, though they should be more efficient at serving the working lunch crowd. However the food was pretty good though. What I liked was the seafood was fresh, the portions were good. The signature chirashi might look at little lacking in terms of seafood, but beneath the exterior there were other fish and also scallops. The scallops chawanmushi was good too, it was so hot I couldn't lift the cup and had to hold the saucer instead while eating. The meal was good, and I have to say value for money. Hope they can improve the service by getting more staff, only 2 to manage the lunch crowd isn't enough. From the time I sat, the pair next to me left but the table hasn't been cleared even until I left. Not only its unsightly and doesn't give a clean environment to dine, might also deter customers from visiting.
