Singapore Dog Festival 2026 returns to Palawan Green from 16 October

Singapore Dog Festival 2026 takes over Palawan Green on Sentosa from 16 October to 1 November. Income Insurance presents the third edition, organised by Atomic Events with Sentosa as venue partner. The pitch this year is blunt: dogs are the main characters, not props at a human fair.

16 October is not a public day. Sentosa's listing and the Ticketmelon page both treat it as an opening reserved for media, Income policyholders and Sentosa Islanders. Public ticketed days start 17 October. After that the pattern is three weekends, Friday to Sunday, 3pm to 9pm: 17 to 18 October, 23 to 25 October, and 30 October to 1 November.

Weekdays are a different product. From 19 to 22 October and 26 to 29 October, the Dogs First Playscape is free from 4pm to 9pm. The marketplace, stage programme and most of the paid-day activity stay on the Friday-to-Sunday dates. If you only want a sniff-and-run session after work, the weekday window is the one that matches. If you want the stalls and the stage, buy a ticket for a weekend.

What the ticket actually covers

Dogs enter free. Children aged 3 and below enter free. Child tickets are for ages 4 to 12. All prices on the organiser chart are in Singapore dollars, before any member codes.

Early Pup pricing still runs through 16 October. After that the festival price kicks in from 17 October:

  • Single day adult: $7 now, $8 from 17 October, valid on one festival day
  • Single day child: $4 now, $5 from 17 October
  • Multi pass: $15 now, $18 from 17 October, valid across all ticketed festival days

Two bundles sit above the singles. The Family Bundle is $16 until 16 October and $20 after that. It covers two adult tickets, complimentary entry for all children aged 12 and below in the same family, and one event exclusive mystery helium balloon. The Premium Bundle is $45 until 16 October and $50 after that. It covers two adult tickets, an event exclusive keycap keychain, a $10 F&B voucher, a $10 merchandise voucher and a $10 retail voucher.

Tickets sell on Ticketmelon. SAFRA members can stack $2 off single day adult tickets and multi passes with code SAFRA2, and $1 off single day child tickets with SAFRA1. Sentosa Islanders get the same dollar discounts through a code in the MySentosa app. Those codes sit on top of the price at the time of purchase. Tickets are non-refundable. The festival is outdoors and continues in rain unless the organiser suspends an activity for safety. No refunds for weather.

The playscape is the reason to go

Atomic Events is selling a Colossal Sensory Garden built around how dogs actually move: oversized flowers, winding paths, a zoomie zone, shade sails. The Ticketmelon listing frames it as enrichment, not a photo set. That is the useful distinction if you have a dog that shuts down in a noisy stall row. Use the weekday free hours to test the space before you commit to a paid weekend, especially if your dog is new to crowds.

Around that sits a marketplace of about 50 local and regional brands. The organiser list is pet apparel, accessories, grooming, wellness, lifestyle products, treats and specialist goods. Dedicated F&B is meant to cover both humans and dogs. Festival goodie bags, packed with samples from participating brands, are capped at 300 redemptions a day while stocks last. Redemption conditions apply on site.

Daytime programming is expert talks, demonstrations, interactive sessions and community activities. Live entertainment takes over in the evening. Friday evenings are listed with movie screenings, plus rotating fringe such as face painting and glitter tattoos. None of that needs a dog. The festival is open to people who just like being around them.

Halloween weekend is the loud one

30 October to 1 November adds family-friendly Halloween activities aimed at dogs, children and owners together. The organiser copy is specific: playful rather than frightening. The same weekend carries the Mardi Gras Parade, a costume procession for dogs and humans that closes the run. If you are going to dress a dog, this is the weekend the schedule is built around.

Bring a leash or carrier, water and waste bags. Specified dogs under NParks AVS rules must be muzzled, and the organiser can require a muzzle if a dog's behaviour is a problem. Owners clean up immediately. Children need an adult. Ask before you touch someone else's dog. Palawan Green sits on Siloso Beach Walk, a short walk from Beach Station on the Sentosa Express. HarbourFront MRT is the mainland interchange.
